Senior Business Development Manager

Our Client runs a website, print, social media and product sampling platform for numerous notable brands. The company has a strong heritage and ambitious plans to be leaders in community engagement through multimedia services. They currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a dynamic and tenacious, proven Senior Business Develoment Manager in the Multimedia space

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new partnerships with both clients and advertising agencies across finance, Auto, FMCG and other relevant categories
• Demonstrate the match between the client’s membership needs and target industry categories
• Develop new commercial propositions for brands based on insights from research and feedback from the membership services team
• Secure a loyal and happy client partnership base through delivery of innovative and high performing campaigns
• Match the right campaign type with client engagement needs and budget for maximum ROI for the client
• Develop and implement sales strategies for business growth and profitability in each media channel
• Work with marketing/membership team to develop initiatives in line with consumer media trends and client needs
• Monitor and identify trends within the industry to identify potential business and product development opportunities

Skills and Experience

• This opportunity is ideal for someone working in a similar role at a media publisher with excellent practical knowledge of digital media sales; video, mobile and online
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets and managing the sales process
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Proven track record at developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers
• Minimum 4 years experience preferably within a media sales role, TV, Radio or Press
• Strong commercial acumen
