Direct Marketing Sales Specialist


Our Client runs a website, print, social media and product sampling platform for numerous notable brands. The company has a strong heritage and ambitious plans to be leaders in community engagement through multimedia services.

Role Purpose:
This client's customer base love to receive updates, discounts and offer by post.The redemption rate for relevant offers to this membership is outstanding. They now wish to engage with more brands through this channel and offer greater value with more rewarding brand introductions.
They are seeking a Direct Marketing Sales Specialist to develop and execute direct mail programmes to the membership base nationwide

Responsibilities
• Expand current direct mail (postal) promotional channel by developing commercial opportunities for brands wishing to engage with the customer base.
• Translate member insights into innovative direct mail campaigns for brands and their agencies to deliver excellent ROI
• Develop and implement sales strategies for business growth and profitability in the direct mail channel
• Work with marketing/membership team to develop initiatives in line with consumer media trends and client needs
• Create powerful propositions for brands that best demonstrate the value of reaching and engaging mums through Direct Mail
• Develop campaigns which integrate with and enhance the messages of social media, sampling and web channels
• Monitor and report on response rates

Attributes and Experience
• Ambitious, creative, self-starter
• Passionate about direct mail
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in devising, selling and implementing direct marketing strategies
• Excellent knowledge and experience in data protection policies and processes
• Proven track record at developing new business and building strong client relations
• Strong commercial acumen
