Description

The Sales team focuses solely on generating new business. The team sells all company products and services, with a focus on the development of a tailored strategy that matches the clients’ needs.

Main Purpose of Job:

As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for developing sales of company products and services through developing contacts with prospective customers, negotiating and closing sales. You will generate your own leads and communicate with the Sales Manager Ireland on a daily basis on the progress of current prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales of company products and services to predominantly new clients
  • Generate leads through research, networking etc
  • Generate interest in the company and product
  • Respond to and follow up all incoming sales enquiries using appropriate methods
  • Carry out the entire sales cycle with prospective customers
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business
  • Achieve both personal and Company revenue targets
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed targets
  • Manage your own time in relation to current prospects and future leads
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
  • Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
  • Attend and present at customer meetings
  • Constantly update and develop your own knowledge and understanding of industry changes and Just Search products
  • Develop your sales techniques to constantly improve performance

Key performance indicators:

  • To achieve monthly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager – Ireland
  • A proven track record in B2B sales in a transferrable industry.
  • Cold calling experience
  • Experience in face to face selling
  • Experience/existing knowledge of SEO principles and other online marketing techniques

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
  • Able to build and develop relationships at a variety of levels
  • The ability to organise your own workload
  • Accomplished presentation skills
  • Able to communicate effectively via written media
  • Computer skills: must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Internet and email software
  • An understanding of sales and negotiation processes to achieve maximum sales
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines and thinking ahead without regular supervision
