Description

Advertising Sales Account Manager

Our client is a highly respected and longstanding  Medical Publication.  They currently have a requirement for an accomplished Advertising Sales Account Manager to join their team.

This role involves:
•Identification of new business opportunities to generate the maximum revenue
•Proactively generate sales to achieve monthly sales Targets on the phone and face to face
•Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of targeted customers
•Develop strong working relationships with clients to retain and grow the accounts throughout their lifetime, using solution selling methods to ensure maximum return for the customer
•Promotion of our full range of business units
•Establish and maintain effective communication links with other business units to identify all sales opportunities.
•Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and reports to ensure effective forward planning.

Your background:
•At least 2 years proven & successful business development experience and/ or account management - (medical or pharma background a distinct advantage)
•Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
•Proven ability to identify and exploit new sales opportunities with potential customers and be able to follow a sales process, overcome objections and find solutions to those objections thus maximising the clients revenue stream.
•Strong commercial awareness Dining & Leisure Industry is an advantage
•Full Clean Driving Licence

•Team oriented; Ability to work well with both internal/external (partner) teams;
