Our Client is a leading, Global On-line Reservations company. Due to continued growth and success, they currently have a requirement for a Supply Manager to join them.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for developing and sustaining superior supplier relationship within assigned markets. This includes securing the most relevant portfolio of suppliers, negotiating favourable rates and supply at country level.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of market specific supply  proposals
  • To be involved in all major channel negotiations.
  • Maintain supplier relationships at all levels and develop a annual schedule that may include country visits and tradeshows
  • Develop long term relationships with suppliers through delivery of agreed targets & margins in a seamless and efficient manner
  • Analysing and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Ensuring the supply budgets are in line with the specific market trends.

Candidate requirements:

Required experience & skills:

  • 2 years experience in a similar contracting role
  • High levels of self motivation
  • Superior problem solving & analytical skills
  • Experience in travel contracting
  • Strong commercial awareness

You will be responsible for establishing and rolling out the sales operation of an exciting new online deals business.  Our product links local SME’s with consumers through unique and attractive daily deals. You will be an integral part of the management team, directly responsible for selling accounts, exceeding initial targets and building a talented sales team as the business expands and grows rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and management of potential leads (primarily local SME’s) using multiple sources, including online
  • Proactively hunting, finding, negotiating  and closing deals, both face to face  and over the phone
  • Assessing and negotiating online sales agreements with business principles / managers in their local environment
  • Ongoing customer account management
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of prospects, calls, future pipeline and daily / weekly  closes
  • Achieve and over exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals

Must haves

  • Bachelor degree is desirable
  • Good knowledge/experience of the internet as a commercial tool and interest in social media
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
