Sales Manager – Magazine

Our Client is a leading national Newspaper. They currently have an exciting opening for an experienced and accomplished Sales Manager to drive revenue for their magazine portfolio.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities from existing customers.
  • Manage the entire portfolio of magazines produced by the publisher
  • New business is generated through cold calling, and you will be expected to consistently reach and exceed targets.
  • This role covers all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation to presentations to closing deals.
  • Identify, qualify, profile and target potential clients by researching the current market and developing market knowledge
  • Prepare and submit detailed proposals to potential clients
  • Conduct an amount of corporate entertainment outside office hours
  • Account management of existing business while maternity leave is being covered
  • Representing the Newspaper professionally at all times
  • Comply with all internal administrative processes

 

Candidate profile

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record New Business Development
  • Extremely target-driven
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Can deliver to strict timelines
